It is reported that around information technology, biotechnology, civil aviation, new materials, new energy and other industries, the construction of a total of 30 high-tech industry base, including the information industry base in 9, Dongguan City, one of them.
It is understood that, under the "national economic and social development in the Tenth Five-Year Plan" and "high-tech industry development" Eleventh Five-Year "plan" to promote the concentration of high-tech industries, promote regional economic development of radiation, by the National Development and Reform Commission Research Committee, decided to have an advantage in high-tech industry and the characteristics of the region, building six comprehensive national high-tech industry base in industrial countries and 24 high-tech industry base. 9 of which the city approved construction of national high-tech industry base in the information industry, including Dongguan, Guangzhou, Fuzhou, Suzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Dalian, the state will base the field of information industrialization projects, innovation projects and related policies to tilt.

Dongguan Municipal Committee, Deputy Mayor Leng Xiaoming, said at the opening ceremony, Dongguan will further enhance the computer, communications terminals and infrastructure components of the production of competitive advantage, focusing on the development of mobile communication systems, optical communication systems, high-performance computers, new display , integrated circuit design and new components such as high technological content and added value of electronic information products manufacturing. And to develop practical information industry development plan, to promote the information industry in Dongguan bigger and stronger.
